This lecture presents the Transition Pavilion, an ephemeral structure designed to create a unique experience of time through light. The pavilion's wooden framework gives it a sense of lightness, enhanced by its piloti design. Visitors begin their journey in the reception area, which represents midday, filled with natural light. As they progress, they encounter different thematic spaces that reflect various times of the day. The evening room, characterized by dim lighting, allows visitors to appreciate the displayed artworks without distraction. The journey continues to the night space, where video works are projected in a dark environment. Gradually, the experience transitions to the morning space, symbolizing the shift from darkness to light, showcasing sculptures illuminated by the rising sun. The pavilion culminates in a return to the reception area, where visitors can reflect on their experience while enjoying refreshments. This lecture highlights the interplay of light and time, emphasizing the transitions that connect different moments of the day.
