This lecture covers the main types of vector-vector interactions and the operations they enable, such as joining point files based on geographic coordinates, counting points within polygons, and calculating segment lengths within polygons. These processes can be done through SQL queries or more efficiently using corresponding functions in QGIS. The lecture also discusses cutting vector objects and boolean operations useful for multi-criteria analysis, concluding the module on geographic information analysis. Next week, the focus will shift to geographic information representation.
