This lecture by Constantin Kruger discusses the isomerization kinetics of cis-but-2-ene into trans-but-2-ene at 469°C. The Lindemann-Christiansen theory is applied to analyze the rate coefficients, comparing them with collision theory and Hinshelwood theory.
