This lecture on urbanization in Asia focuses on three main axes: structuring models, material dimensions in the physical and natural environment, and immaterial, cultural, and identity dimensions. The course provides theoretical tools and concrete examples of city production in various Asian countries. Evaluation includes individual written work based on selected readings and group work in the form of a video presentation. Topics covered range from urbanization dynamics in China, Japan, Vietnam, and other Asian countries to the evaluation criteria emphasizing synthesis, structured problem-solving, and originality.
