He is a two-time winner of the Governor General's Award for French-language poetry, winning at the 2000 Governor General's Awards for La Marche de l'aveugle sans son chien and at the 2016 Governor General's Awards for Le poème est une maison de bord de mer. He was born in Montréal.He studied at Cégep de Maisonneuve and at the Université de Montréal In 1972, he was a professor au Cégep de Maisonneuve.
Edward KoflerEdward Kofler (November 16, 1911 – April 22, 2007) was a mathematician who made important contributions to game theory and fuzzy logic by working out the theory of linear partial information. Kofler was born in Brzeżany, Austrian-Hungarian empire (now western Ukraine) and graduated as a disciple of among others Hugo Steinhaus and Stefan Banach from the University of Lwów Poland (now Ukraine) and the University of Cracow, having studied game theory.
Tortuguero (Maya site)NOTOC Tortuguero (or El Tortuguero) is an archaeological site in southernmost Tabasco, Mexico which supported a Maya city during the Classic period. The site is noteworthy for its use of the B'aakal emblem glyph also found as the primary title at Palenque. The site has been heavily damaged by looting and modern development; in the 1960s, a cement factory was built directly on top of the site. Because of its mid-20th century destruction, little is known about the dynastic lineage of this site.

Roger Sargent (chemical engineer)Roger William Herbert Sargent FREng FSA (14 October 1926 – 11 September 2018) was an English chemical engineer who was Courtaulds professor of Chemical engineering at Imperial College London and "the father" of the discipline of Process Systems Engineering. Born on 14 October 1926, Sargent was educated at Bedford School and at Imperial College London where he received a BSc and a PhD in chemical engineering. He worked for Air Liquide in Paris as a practising engineer until 1959 when he returned to the UK and subsequently joined Imperial College as a lecturer.
Frank Ramsey (mathematician)Frank Plumpton Ramsey (ˈræmzi; 22 February 1903 – 19 January 1930) was a British philosopher, mathematician, and economist who made major contributions to all three fields before his death at the age of 26. He was a close friend of Ludwig Wittgenstein and, as an undergraduate, translated Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus into English. He was also influential in persuading Wittgenstein to return to philosophy and Cambridge. Like Wittgenstein, he was a member of the Cambridge Apostles, the secret intellectual society, from 1921.
