Subpixel rendering

Subpixel rendering is used to increase the apparent resolution of a computer's display. It takes advantage of the fact that each pixel on a color liquid crystal display (LCD) or similar is composed of individual red, green, and blue components — subpixels — with different locations, so that the color also causes the image to shift in space. A single pixel on a color display is made of several subpixels, typically three arranged left-to-right as red, green, blue (RGB).

Zachman Framework

The Zachman Framework is an enterprise ontology and is a fundamental structure for enterprise architecture which provides a formal and structured way of viewing and defining an enterprise. The ontology is a two dimensional classification schema that reflects the intersection between two historical classifications. The first are primitive interrogatives: What, How, When, Who, Where, and Why. The second is derived from the philosophical concept of reification, the transformation of an abstract idea into an instantiation.

Android 12

Android 12 is the twelfth major release and 19th version of Android, the mobile operating system developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google. The first beta was released on May 18, 2021. Android 12 was released publicly on October 4, 2021, through Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and was released to supported Google Pixel devices on October 19, 2021. As of July 2023, Android 12 was the 2nd most widely-used version of Android, with 20.6% of devices. The first phones to have Android 12 were the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

Android software development

Android software development is the process by which applications are created for devices running the Android operating system. Google states that "Android apps can be written using Kotlin, Java, and C++ languages" using the Android software development kit (SDK), while using other languages is also possible. All non-Java virtual machine (JVM) languages, such as Go, JavaScript, C, C++ or assembly, need the help of JVM language code, that may be supplied by tools, likely with restricted API support.
