A RúaA Rúa is a mostly rural Galician municipality in the comarca of Valdeorras, eastern province of Ourense, Spain, 101 km (63 mi) from the provincial capital, Ourense. An inhabitant of the area is known as a Rués (plural Rueses). It contains three parroquias: A Rúa de Valdeorras, Roblido and San Xulián. The municipality of A Rúa is bordered on the north by lugués de Quiroga and in the east by Vilamartín de Valdeorras east, it is part of the Diocese of Astorga. A Rúa is on the northern edge of the Valdeorras valley.
Juan David García BaccaJuan David García Bacca was a Spanish-Venezuelan philosopher and university professor. He was born in Pamplona on June 26, 1901, and passed away on August 5, 1992, in Quito, Ecuador. Bacca began his education under the Claretians and was ordained as a priest in 1925. He continued his studies at the University of Munich, the University of Zurich, and the University of Paris. However, during the 1930s, he left the Church and pursued philosophy at the University of Barcelona.

Francisco José RamosFrancisco José Ramos (born in Caguas in 1950) is a Puerto Rican philosopher, poet, and retired university professor. He is the author of the philosophical trilogy Aesthetics of Thought. He is also a numerary member of the Puerto Rican Spanish Academy. Ramos was born on December 31, 1950, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He completed a master's degree (1976) and Ph.D (1982) in Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Marta LamasMarta Lamas Encabo (born 1947) is a Mexican anthropologist and political science professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and lecturer at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). She is one of Mexico's leading feminists and has written many books aimed at reducing discrimination by opening public discourse on feminism, gender, prostitution and abortion. Since 1990, Lamas has edited one of Latin America's most important feminist journals, Debate Feminista (Feminist Debate).
