Gustave CohenGustave Cohen (24 December 1879 – 10 June 1958) was a French medievalist. Cohen was born and grew up in Brussels. He fought for the French army in World War I. He became professor of medieval literature at the Sorbonne, encouraging his students to put on dramatic productions of medieval material. After the Vichy government forced him to resign in 1940, Cohen emigrated to the United States. In February 1942 he helped found the New York École libre des hautes études with Henri Focillon and Jacques Maritain.
L'Autre AfriqueL'Autre Afrique was a monthly news magazine in Paris, France, published between 1992 and 2002. There was a period in between when the magazine was not produced or published. L'Autre Afrique was founded in 1997 by Paris-based journalist Jean-Baptiste Placca as a response to the "clichéd and often reductive" depiction of Africa in the Western media. In contrast, L'Autre Afrique sought to inspire a different reading that reflected the diversity of opinion, realities, terminology, and complexities of daily life across a vast continent of more than 50 nations.

He is a research engineer at the centre of economics and ethics of environment and development of the Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University. Employment and training specialist, he undertook several missions in West Africa. He is at the origin of the definition "New Wave" in jazz.
Catherine PerretCatherine Perret (born 9 July 1956 in Paris) is associate professor of modern and contemporary aesthetics and theory at Nanterre University (Paris X). She obtained her Ph.D. in philosophy and is known for her work on Walter Benjamin, most notably by her book Walter Benjamin ou la critique en effet. Dr. Perret was the director of the Art of Exhibition Department at Paris X. She served as a program director at the Collège International de Philosophie from 1995 to 2001. She is a recipient of the prestigious title Chevalier des Palmes académiques.
Philippe CouvreurPhilippe Couvreur, (born 29 November 1951 in Schaerbeek, Belgium), is a jurist specialized in international law. He served as the Registrar of the International Court of Justice in The Hague (The Netherlands) from 2000 to 2019. After a classical education at the Collège Jean XXIII in Brussels, Philippe Couvreur studied law at Notre-Dame de la Paix University in Namur and at the Université catholique de Louvain, and international and European law at King's College London, at the Complutense University of Madrid and at the Université catholique de Louvain.
