Vision MontrealVision Montreal (Vision Montréal or VM) was a municipal political party in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1994 and dissolved in April 2014. Between 2001 and 2013 it formed the official opposition on Montreal City Council. Vision Montreal was established in 1994 to promote the candidacy of the director of the Montreal Botanical Garden and then rising political star Pierre Bourque for Mayor of Montreal. Bourque was elected Mayor against incumbent Jean Doré in 1994, with 39 of his candidates elected to Montreal City Council.

Annabelle DuncanAnnabelle Duncan (born in Nelson, New Zealand in 1953), is a microbiologist who held the post of Vice-Chancellor at the University of New England (UNE) from 2014-2019. Duncan was born the youngest of two girls to parents who met in England. She won a scholarship to study pharmacy at University of Otago, however changed to microbiology, completing a Master of Science thesis on antiobiotic-resistant bacteria. She moved to Australia in 1981 or 1982 and completed her doctorate at La Trobe University and a postdoctorate at Monash University.

She followed this research into aesthetics, based primarily around the works of Walter Benjamin.
Jeanne LapauzeJeanne Lapauze, née Loiseau (1860–1920) was a French poet and novelist who used the pen name Daniel Lesueur. She was born in the vicinity of Paris. Her volume of poems, Fleurs d'avril (1882), was crowned by the Académie française. She also wrote some powerful novels dealing with contemporary life. Her poems were collected in 1882, Fleurs d'Avril; 1884, Sursum corda !, Great Prize by Académie française; and 1895, Rêves et Visions.
