Viktor SchaubergerViktor Schauberger (30 June 1885 – 25 September 1958) was an Austrian forest caretaker, naturalist, philosopher, inventor and pseudoscientist. Schauberger developed his own ideas based on what he observed in nature. In Implosion magazine, a magazine released by Schauberger's family, he said that aeronautical and marine engineers had incorrectly designed the propeller.

It was broadcast from 26 March 2007 to 12 August 2008 by the German private channel ProSieben in two seasons. The series deals with the work of a special unit for organized crime and especially with the work of the police psychologist Dr Max Munzl. He is the new guy in the department and is generally disliked at first because his colleagues don't think they need a psychologist, but rather more police colleagues.
Alice SalomonAlice Salomon (19 April 1872, in Berlin – 30 August 1948, in New York City) was a German social reformer and pioneer of social work as an academic discipline. Her role was so important to German social work that the Deutsche Bundespost (German post office) issued a commemorative postage stamp about her in 1989. A university, a park and a square in Berlin are all named after her. Alice Salomon was the third of eight children, and the second daughter, of Albert and Anna Salomon.
Löwengrube – Die Grandauers und ihre ZeitLöwengrube – Die Grandauers und ihre Zeit is a German television series first aired between 1989 and 1992, created by Willy Purucker and directed by Rainer Wolffhardt. It is set in Munich and follows the lives of Ludwig Grandauer and his son Karl, both policemen, covering the years from 1897 to 1954. The TV show is based on Purucker's radio play series Die Grandauers und ihre Zeit (‘The Grandauers and their time’). The series’ main title Löwengrube, meaning ‘Lions’ Den’, refers to the address of the Munich Police Headquarters inaugurated in 1913.

She is a representative of Concrete art and became best known for using a dice as a random number generator in her series of works Alea iacta est (Latin for the die is cast). Ingrid Hornef acquired her professional skills as an autodidact and opened her own studio in 1985. In her early days, she was mainly concerned with pottery and attended ceramic courses in 1984 and 1985 with the well-known Japanese ceramic artist Takeshi Yasuda.

Mendel GrossmanMordka Mendel Grossman was born on 27 June 1913 in Gorzkowice, Piotrków Governorate, Russian Empire (today Poland). He died on 30 April 1945, during the death marches. He was a photographer and worker in the Statistical Department of the Litzmannstadt Ghetto. He was born in Gorzkowice to a Jewish Hasidic family as a son of Szmul Dawid Grossman and Hanna. After the First World War his family settled in Łódź to Wschodnia street 58. In early youth he (as a child) began to draw portraits, as well as scenes from Jewish life.

The German libretto by Wilhelm August Wohlbrück was based on a number of intermediate works based in turn on Walter Scott's 1819 novel Ivanhoe. The first performance took place at the Leipzig Opera on 22 December 1829. It became Marschner's most successful work and was staged more than 200 times in Germany during the next 70 years.

The journal changed its title several times. From 1855 to 1858 it was published as the Jahres-Bericht über die Fortschritte der chemischen Technologie für Fabrikanten, Chemiker, Pharmaceuten, Hütten- und Forstleute und Cameralisten and from 1859 to 1864 as the Jahres-Bericht über die Fortschritte und Leistungen der chemischen Technologie und technischen Chemie.
