Le GlèbeLe Glèbe (lə ɡlɛb; Le Gllèbe) is a former municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. It was created on 1 January 2003 by the union of Estavayer-le-Gibloux, Rueyres-Saint-Laurent, Villarlod, and Villarsel-le-Gibloux. On 1 January 2016 it merged with Corpataux-Magnedens, Farvagny, Rossens and Vuisternens-en-Ogoz to form the new municipality of Gibloux. Le Glèbe had an area, , of . Of this area, or 72.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while or 18.9% is forested.
Joseph YacoubJoseph Yacoub (born 1944 in Hassaké or Al-Hasakah, Syria) is a historian and political scientist of Assyrian origin. His family moved from Salmas-Urmia, district in Iranian Azerbaijan and took refuge in Georgia (country of Caucasus area) during the First World War. From Tiflis/Tbilissi his family migrated to Syria which was during this time under French Mandate. His mother tongue is Aramaic (or Syriac) and his first environment language is Arabic.His working language is mostly French.
Françoise PommaretFrançoise Pommaret (born 1954) is a French ethno-historian and Tibetologist. Pommaret grew up in the Congo. She received her Master of Arts in the history of art and archeology from the Sorbonne University and completed her studies in Tibetan at the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientalest (INALCO). Her doctoral thesis on "People who come back from the netherland in the Tibetan cultural areas" received the prix Delalande-Guérineau from the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres.
Paul BivaPaul Biva (Montmartre 19 September 1851 – 13 June 1900, Avon, Seine-et-Marne) was a French painter. His paintings, both Realist, Naturalist in effect, principally represented intricate landscape paintings or elaborate flower settings, much as the work of his older brother, the artist Henri Biva (1848–1929). Paul Biva was a distinguished member of National Horticultural Society of France from 1898 until his untimely death two years later. Biva Paul was raised in a family originally from Alsace and Grisons.
Venera-DVenera-D (Венера-Д, vjɪˈnjɛrə ˈdɛ) is a proposed Russian space mission to Venus that would include an orbiter and a lander to be launched in 2029. The orbiter's prime objective is to perform observations with the use of a radar. The lander, based on the Venera design, would be capable of operating for a long duration (≈3 h) on the planet's surface. The "D" in Venera-D stands for "dolgozhivuschaya," which means "long lasting" in Russian. Venera-D will be the first Venus probe launched by the Russian Federation (the earlier Venera probes were launched by the former Soviet Union).
Delta de la Sauer National Nature ReserveThe Delta de la Sauer (Sauer Delta) National Nature Reserve (RNN 135) is a national nature reserve in the Grand Est region in France. Created in 1997, it extends over 486 ha and protects a Rhine wetland with remarkable biodiversity. The Sauer delta is located in the Grand Est region in the north of the Bas-Rhin department, between the communes of Seltz and Munchhausen, at the point where the Sauer flows into the Rhine river.
