Random cluster modelIn statistical mechanics, probability theory, graph theory, etc. the random cluster model is a random graph that generalizes and unifies the Ising model, Potts model, and percolation model. It is used to study random combinatorial structures, electrical networks, etc. It is also referred to as the RC model or sometimes the FK representation after its founders Cees Fortuin and Piet Kasteleyn. The first definition, with which most of this article is concerned, is that the rank of a partition is the number obtained by subtracting the number of parts in the partition from the largest part in the partition.
Classical Heisenberg modelThe Classical Heisenberg model, developed by Werner Heisenberg, is the case of the n-vector model, one of the models used in statistical physics to model ferromagnetism, and other phenomena. It can be formulated as follows: take a d-dimensional lattice, and a set of spins of the unit length each one placed on a lattice node.
