Albert PietteAlbert Piette (born April 18, 1960, in Namur, Belgium) is a French anthropologist and a professor at the Department of Anthropology at Paris Nanterre University. His research has focused on questions of observation, especially in the religious world. He describes and analyses details and ordinary forms in everyday life - what he named the minor mode of reality. For several years, the objective of Piette has been to elaborate anthropology as a specific discipline, a science of the human being, different from sociology and ethnology, with precise theoretical and methodological orientations and themes.
Yves Michaud (philosopher)Yves Michaud (born July 11, 1944) is a French philosopher. As a student, he studied philosophy and science at École Normale Supérieure and the Sorbonne in Paris. His early research involved the study of political violence and empiricism, especially the works of John Locke and David Hume. He was Director of the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts from 1989 to 1997. In 2000, Michaud partnered with Jean-Jacques Aillagon to establish the Université de tous les savoirs (University of all knowledge), a French government initiative to disseminate information on new scientific advances.
Académie de Poésie et de MusiqueThe Académie de Poésie et de Musique (Académie de poésie et de musique), later renamed the Académie du Palais, was the first Academy in France. It was founded in 1570 under the auspices of Charles IX of France by the poet Jean-Antoine de Baïf and the musician Joachim Thibault de Courville. The purpose of the Académie was to revive Classical Greek and Roman poetry and music. It met regularly at Baïf's house in Paris, and had two classes of members — "musicians", or poets, singers and instrumentalists; and "auditors", or subscribers who helped support the academy financially.

Danièle BourcierDanièle Bourcier (born 1946 in Anjou) is a French lawyer and essayist, who has contributed to the emergence of a new discipline in France: Law, Computing and linguistics. She is director of research emeritus at CNRS, leads the "Law and Governance technologies" Department at the Centre for Administrative Science Research (CERSA) at the University Paris II, and is associate researcher at the March Bloch Centre in Berlin and at the IDT laboratory of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
