Abstract

We study the existence, uniqueness, and regularity of the solution to the stochastic reaction-diffusion equation (SRDE) with colored noise F-center dot:partial derivative(t)u = aijuxixj +biuxi + cu - bu1+beta +xi u1+gamma F-center dot, (t, x) is an element of R+ x Rd; u(0, ) = u0,where a(ij), b(i), c, b and xi are C-2 or L-infinity bounded random coefficients. Here beta > 0 denotes the degree of strong dissipativity and gamma > 0 represents the degree of stochastic force. Under the reinforced Dalang's condition on F-center dot, we show the well-posedness of the SRDE provided gamma < kappa (beta+1) d+2 where kappa > 0 is the constant related to F-center dot. Our result assures that strong dissipativity prevents the solution from blowing up. Moreover, we provide the maximal H & ouml;lder regularity of the solution in time and space. The MIT License is a permissive free software license originating at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the late 1980s. As a permissive license, it puts only very limited restriction on reuse and has, therefore, high license compatibility. Unlike copyleft software licenses, the MIT License also permits reuse within proprietary software, provided that all copies of the software or its substantial portions include a copy of the terms of the MIT License and also a copyright notice.
X.Org Server
X.Org Server is the free and open-source implementation of the X Window System display server stewarded by the X.Org Foundation. Implementations of the client-side X Window System protocol exist in the form of X11 libraries, which serve as helpful APIs for communicating with the X server. Two such major X libraries exist for X11. The first of these libraries was Xlib, the original C language X11 API, but another C language X library, XCB, was created later in 2001.
OpenOffice.org
OpenOffice.org (OOo), commonly known as OpenOffice, is a discontinued open-source office suite. Active successor projects include LibreOffice (the most actively developed), Apache OpenOffice, Collabora Online (enterprise ready LibreOffice) and NeoOffice (commercial, and available only for macOS). OpenOffice was an open-sourced version of the earlier StarOffice, which Sun Microsystems acquired in 1999 for internal use. Sun open-sourced the OpenOffice suite in July 2000 as a competitor to Microsoft Office, releasing version 1.

The connection of the acyclic disconnection and feedback arc sets - On an open problem of Figueroa et al.

Lukas Fritz Felix Vogl

We examine the connection of two graph parameters, the size of a minimum feedback arcs set and the acyclic disconnection. A feedback arc set of a directed graph is a subset of arcs such that after deletion the graph becomes acyclic. The acyclic disconnecti ...

An adaptive space-time algorithm for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations

Marco Picasso, Samuel Dubuis

A space-time adaptive algorithm is presented to solve the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. Time discretization is performed with the BDF2 method while continuous, piecewise linear anisotropic finite elements are used for the space discretization. Th ...
