What is the minimum final energy needed to ensure wellbeing for all in Switzerland? What level, type, organization, and approach of mobility could be a basis for such wellbeing? In this paper, we make a methodology contribution to DLS by developing an activity-based bottom-up mobility model for Switzerland, a rich country with very high levels of consumption. It is based on a scenario to solve issues of mobility and the built environment together, developed in “Systems perspectives on transforming Swiss housing by 2040: wellbeing, shared spaces, sufficiency, and de-sprawl”.
