The interdisciplinary character of urban morphology using the fundamental trio - form, scale and history - tries to characterize what we call the primitive morphological ontology. However, this ontology is less useful in other domains unless a formal language is developed that could enable compatibility to fields that do not share the same upper synthesis represented by urban morphological processes. The aim of this paper is to focus only in the temporal terminology embedded in the historical conception of morphological processes.
