Bench-scale calorimetry of hybridomas in suspension culture

Abstract

Heat produced by hybridoma suspension cultures was continuously monitored in a 2-L heat-flux calorimeter. Heat measurements reflected changes in the metabolic state of the culture under different aeration conditions. A highly anaerobic metab. was indicated by the low ratios of heat produced to glucose consumed. [on SciFinder (R)]
