The Workshop of the Institute of Microtechnology (ATPR) at EPFL is a team of 6 collaborators specializing in laser cutting, milling, turning, conventional and CNC drilling, and machining small parts. They provide services in conventional and CNC milling and turning, polishing, technical studies, welding, surface treatment, and dimensional control. Additionally, they manage diamond turning for various laboratories. The workshop houses CNC milling machines, standard and twin-spindle CNC lathes, a laser cutter, and conventional machines. They offer technical studies to ensure project feasibility and provide services such as microblasting for surface treatment and optical measurement of small parts. The workshop also offers a self-service workshop for authorized personnel and students, equipped with drills, milling machines, lathes, and bench tools.
