Computational X-ray Imaging Laboratory

The Laboratory of X-ray Computing Image (CXI) at EPFL focuses on developing methods and algorithms for computational imaging using next-generation X-ray sources. Led by Head of Laboratory Manuel Guizar Sicairos, the research includes ptychography, nanotomography, and hyperdimensional imaging. Collaborating closely with the Swiss Light Source and Switzerland's X-ray free-electron laser, the lab's work spans various applications such as lensless imaging, vector nanotomography, and spectral tomography. Their expertise lies in experimental design, novel reconstruction algorithms, and imaging configurations for applications like brain imaging at synaptic resolution, catalysts, and 3D operando batteries.
