Dubochet Centre for imaging

The Dubochet Image Centre (DCI) is a collaborative initiative between EPFL, the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva, and the University of Bern, offering high-end cryo-electron microscopy services. Comprising units in Lausanne, Geneva, and Bern, the DCI specializes in studying biological molecules, viruses, bacteria, micro-crystals, organelles, and biological cells. Equipped with cutting-edge cryo-EM instruments, the DCI provides a complete structural analysis pipeline, from sample preparation to atomic model building. Noteworthy for its expertise in cryo-EM of single particles and helical filaments, the DCI is a leading platform for structural biology research.
