Data Science Laboratory
LaboratoryThe Data Science Laboratory (dlab) at EPFL is a research group within the School of Computer and Communication Sciences. They specialize in distilling raw data into meaningful insights through the development and application of algorithms in areas such as natural language processing, AI, machine learning, computational social science, and social network analysis. The lab's research focuses on data generated by humans, collected from various online sources like wikis, news websites, social media, and online games. They are funded by organizations like the Swiss National Science Foundation, the Swiss Data Science Center, Microsoft, Google, and Facebook.
