The Advanced manufacturing program (EDAM) at EPFL focuses on the science and engineering of advanced manufacturing processes within the Micro-Manufacturing Science and Engineering Center (M2C). It covers a wide range of topics including materials, mechanics, modeling, process engineering, control systems, optimization, micro- and nano-fabrication, laser processing, additive and subtractive 3D manufacturing, assembly processes, sustainability, and cost analysis. The program offers a multidisciplinary approach to understanding, implementing, designing, and inventing the manufacturing processes of the future.
