Institut interfacultaire de Bioingenierie (STI)

The Institut interfacultaire de Bioingenierie (STI) at EPFL focuses on performing world-class research at the intersection of engineering, physics, chemistry, computer science, and life sciences. The institute's mission is to better understand basic biological principles and translate this knowledge into innovative technology platforms and clinical applications. With a diverse faculty background, the institute explores bioimaging, bioinstrumentation, biophysics, quantitative biology, nano- and microscale bioengineering, and neuroengineering.
