lnformation and Network Dynamics Laboratory 1

The Laboratory of Information and Resource Dynamics 1, part of the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL, focuses on statistical modeling of large dynamical systems involving human and technical agents. Led by Matthias Grossglauser and Patrick Thiran, the group's research areas include graph mining, network alignment, mobility prediction, epidemics monitoring, distributed processes on graphs, active learning, wireless networking, and applications in computational biology and data privacy. They work at the intersection of machine learning, probabilistic modeling, large-scale data analytics, and performance analysis, developing prototypes and platforms to showcase their research applications.
