The Laboratory of Geographic Information Systems (LASIG) at EPFL focuses on spatial data infrastructures, spatial analysis, and spatial decision support. Research areas include multi-scale digital elevation models, air-pollution modeling, remote sensing, and landscape genomics. LASIG also studies the impact of urbanization on genetic diversity in the Grand Geneve area.
