Laboratory of Artificial Chemical Intelligence

The Laboratory of Chemical Artificial Intelligence (LIAC) at EPFL, led by Prof. Philippe Schwaller, focuses on developing artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to expedite the synthesis and discovery of new molecules and materials. Their research, rooted in real-world applications with an emphasis on sustainability, aims to revolutionize the field of chemistry. Prof. Schwaller, a versatile scientist with expertise in chemistry, materials science, computer science, and experimental research, is also a core Principal Investigator at the NCCR Catalysis, a Swiss center for sustainable chemistry research, education, and innovation.
