Laboratory of Imagination and Fabrication

The Laboratory of Imagination and Fabrication (LIF) at EPFL focuses on observation, interpretation, and transformation in design. Emphasizing the importance of looking at things and turning them around, the unit explores addressing the whole from a punctual point of view. LIF's teaching approach involves thinking by drawing and making, starting from personal fascination and embracing imperfection.
