Non-school entityThe Symphony and University Orchestra of Lausanne (OSUL) is a vibrant musical ensemble with a rich history of over a century, showcasing a diverse repertoire ranging from Berlioz to Verdi to Chostakovitch. Comprising talented amateur musicians, seasoned professionals, and students from the University and EPFL, OSUL constantly challenges itself by performing demanding works like operas, symphonies, and choral pieces. Under the dynamic leadership of artistic director Herve Klopfenstein, OSUL continues to push boundaries, discover new talents, and collaborate with various art forms, creating a stimulating and engaging musical experience for both performers and audiences.
