Swiss Data Science Centre

The Swiss Data Science Center (SDSC) is a joint venture between ETH Zurich, EPFL, and PSI, established to accelerate the use of data science and machine learning techniques in academic disciplines, public institutions, and the industrial sector. A team of senior data scientists and experts collaborate on projects related to personalized health & medicine, earth & environmental science, social sciences, digital humanities, and economics. The SDSC promotes open research practices, emphasizing semantic enablement, data governance, privacy, and security to maximize the impact and reuse of research outputs. Through its dedicated team for Open Research Data, the SDSC supports research communities in adopting open research practices and the FAIR principles. The center provides expertise in semantic interoperability, data integration, solution exploration, and privacy-centric data governance, offering end-to-end data enablement solutions and open-source tools for driving innovation and efficiency in data science.
