The Swiss Institute of Finance at EPFL, also known as SFI, is dedicated to fostering research in finance and offering programs in financial engineering. With a focus on mathematical finance, financial econometrics, and entrepreneurial finance, the institute provides teaching programs such as the Master in Financial Engineering, the Minor in Financial Engineering, and the Doctoral Program in Finance. SFI benefits from the support of the Swiss Finance Institute and Swissquote, offering expertise in asset pricing, corporate finance, financial economics, financial engineering, and financial technology. The faculty members, including Pierre Collin-Dufresne, Ruediger Fahlenbrach, and Damir Filipovic, conduct impactful research reflected in numerous publications in top economics and finance journals.
