The Swiss Plasma Center (SPC) at EPFL is a world-leading research unit focused on fusion energy. Through a rich program of research, SPC aims to deepen the understanding of plasma physics and advance fusion as a clean energy source. SPC conducts research in six main areas: Plasma Theory, Basic Plasma Physics, TCV Tokamak Physics, International Collaborations, Superconductivity for Fusion, and Plasma Applications. The center is committed to educating the next generation of fusion scientists and engineers at all academic levels.
