STI - Section de microtechnique
SectionThe Section de microtechnique at EPFL is home to two globally renowned institutes: the Institute of Electrical and Microengineering Engineering, ranked 6th, and the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, ranked 8th in the QS World University Rankings 2023. With a diverse student body of 744 Bachelor, 412 Master, and 191 PhD students, the section offers programs such as BSc and MSc in Microengineering, as well as MSc in Robotics. Under the leadership of Prof. Christophe Moser and Dr. Sebastian Gautsch, the section provides a comprehensive academic experience in cutting-edge fields like Advanced Manufacturing, Micro nanosystems, Photonics, and Robotics, supported by a dedicated team of study advisors and class representatives.
