The Headquarters of Technology and Operational Management (TOM) at EPFL, led by Professor Ralf W. Seifert, focuses on issues related to technology and operations management in technology-based enterprises. TOM aims to be a globally recognized academic institution excelling in developing new theories, transferring research into practice, providing high-quality teaching, and ensuring successful graduate placements. The research at TOM is centered around bridging academia and industry, with a particular emphasis on Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Finance, and Technology Management. The team consists of highly qualified researchers with backgrounds in engineering and mathematics, supported by the CDM while pursuing their PhDs.
