Central serviceThe Vice President for Finance (VPF) at EPFL is responsible for developing and implementing the institution's financial strategy, overseeing financial planning, management control, accounting, and treasury functions. The VPF ensures optimal resource utilization, supports decision-making processes at all levels, and provides financial expertise to various units within the school. Additionally, the VPF defines accounting processes, financial management procedures, and risk management strategies. Through continuous improvement initiatives, the VPF designs modern financial management tools tailored to meet user needs and stakeholder requirements.
