PassiontidePassiontide (in the Christian liturgical year) is a name for the last two weeks of Lent, beginning on the Fifth Sunday of Lent, long celebrated as Passion Sunday, and continuing through Lazarus Saturday. It commemorates the suffering of Christ (Latin passio = “suffering”). The second week of Passiontide is Holy Week, ending on Holy Saturday. "Passiontide" refers to the last two weeks of Lent. According to Cyril of Scythopolis, during this time the monks of the East, who had chosen the desert for a severer mode of life, returned to their monasteries.

Little HoursIn Christianity, the Little Hours or minor hours are the canonical hours other than the three major hours. In the Syriac Orthodox Church and the Indian Orthodox Church, two denominations in Oriental Orthodox Christianity, these fixed prayer times are known as 3rd hour prayer (Tloth shoin [9 am]), 6th hour prayer (Sheth shoin [12 pm]), and 9th hour prayer (Tsha' sho`in [3 pm]). In the Catholic Church, since the reform of the Liturgy of the Hours mandated by the Second Vatican Council, they are called the office of readings, morning prayer and evening prayer.
Traditionis custodesTraditionis custodes (Gardiens de la tradition) est une lettre apostolique sous forme de motu proprio publiée par le pape François le 16 juillet 2021. Elle a annulé l'élargissement, effectué par Benoît XVI en 2007, des conditions de célébration de la messe selon l'édition 1962 du Missel romain (appelée « rite tridentin »). Traditionis custodes est accompagné d'une lettre aux évêques catholiques du monde.
