Giridih
Giridih is headquarters of the Giridih district of Jharkhand state, India. The city of Giridih is known for its industrial and health sectors, as well as its scenic beauty. Giridih houses the Giridih Coalfield which is one of the oldest coalfields to be worked in India. Giridih is one of the six Data Processing Centres of Data Processing Division (DPD) of National Sample Survey Office (NSSO). Before 1972, Giridih was part of Hazaribagh district.

District de Hazaribagh
Hazaribagh district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state, India and the district headquarter located in Hazaribagh town. It is currently a part of the Red Corridor. The district is named after its headquarters, the town of Hazaribagh. The name, Hazaribagh consists of two Persian words, hazar meaning "one thousand", and bagh meaning "garden" - so, the literal meaning of Hazaribagh is 'a city of one thousand gardens'.

Koderma district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state, India, and Koderma is the administrative headquarters of this district. Koderma district was created on 10 April 1994, after being carved out of the original Hazaribagh district. It is currently a part of the Red Corridor. Koderma is bordered by Nawada district of Bihar on the north, the Gaya district of Bihar on the west, the Giridih district of Jharkhand on the east, and the Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand on the south.

Mont Sammeda
Le Mont Sammeda appelé aussi Mont Sammeta ou encore Sammed Shikharji est un haut lieu de pèlerinage du jaïnisme. Situé dans les Montagnes Parasnath dans le district de Giridih dans l'état de l'Inde du Jharkhand, ce lieu est célèbre pour avoir été le théâtre de l'illumination de vingt Tirthankaras: les Maîtres éveillés, sur les vingt-quatre ayant vécu dans notre époque. Cette série de monts culmine à 1350 mètres. Bien que les deux branches du jaïnisme se disputent les territoires de cette chaîne montagneuse, les pèlerins vont dans des temples où les deux courants se rejoignent pour prier.
