Kadjar (tribu)Les Qajars (Qacarlar, ایل قاجار), également orthographiés Kadjars, Kajars, Kadzhars, Cadzhars, Cadjars, Ghajars, sont un clan de la tribu Bayat des Turcs oghouzes qui vivaient différemment, avec d'autres tribus, dans la région désormais devenue l'Arménie, l'Azerbaïdjan et le nord-ouest de l'Iran. Ils sont considérés comme un sous-groupe des Azerbaïdjanais. Avec la fin de l'ère safavide, ils s'étaient divisés en plusieurs factions.
SulaymaniThe Sulaymani branch of Tayyibi Isma'ilism is an Islamic community, of which around 70,000 members reside in Yemen, while a few thousand Sulaymani Bohras can be found in India. The Sulaymanis are sometimes headed by a Da'i al-Mutlaq from the Makrami family. It is not correct that this branch is headed by one from the Makrami family always as the D'ai al Mutlaq could be from other families and communities. Examples: the first Da'i was Dhuayb Bin Mousa (Hamdan), Dawud Bin Ajab Shah(Indian), Sulayman Bin Al Hassan (Indian) and some of his brothers and sons were Indians.
Durrani dynastyThe Durrani dynasty (سلسله درانیان; د درانيانو کورنۍ) was founded in 1747 by Ahmad Shah Durrani at Kandahar, Afghanistan. He united the different Pashtun tribes and created the Durrani Empire. which at its peak included the modern-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, as well as some parts of northeastern Iran, eastern Turkmenistan, and northwestern India including the Kashmir Valley. The Durranis were replaced by the Barakzai dynasty during the early half of the 19th century.

Empire kadjarL'Empire kadjar désigne la Perse de 1794 à 1925, sous le règne de la dynastie Kadjar fondée par Agha Mohammad Khan, originaire de la tribu Qizilbash. Celui-ci renversa Lotf Ali Khan Zand en 1794 et Chahrokh Chah en 1796, réunissant leurs territoires sous son autorité en établissant la capitale à Téhéran. À partir du début du , le pouvoir des Kadjars fut miné par la rivalité de la Russie et du Royaume-Uni dans le cadre du Grand Jeu.
