Banjar (langue)Le banjar ou bandjar est une langue austronésienne parlée en Indonésie, dans les provinces de Kalimantan du Sud et de Kalimantan oriental, dans l'île de Bornéo. Un petit groupe de locuteurs est présent au Sabah, en Malaisie. Campagne de Bornéo (1945)La campagne de Bornéo en 1945 a été la dernière grande campagne alliée dans la Guerre du Pacifique, pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Dans une série d'assauts amphibies entre le et le 21 juillet, le corps australien commandé par le général Leslie Morshead, attaqua les forces d'occupation nippones sur l'île de Bornéo qui avait été conquise par l'empire du Japon lors de l'invasion des Indes orientales néerlandaises en 1942.

DusunDusun is the collective name of an indigenous ethnic group to the Malaysian state of Sabah of North Borneo. Collectively, they form the largest ethnic group in Sabah. The Dusun people have been internationally recognised as indigenous to Borneo since 2004 as per the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Other similarly named, yet unrelated groups can also be found in Brunei and the Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

It was supposedly created by Datu Sumakwel to exercise his authority over all the other datus of Panay. Like the Maragtas and the Code of Kalantiaw, the historical authenticity of the confederation is disputed, as no other documentation for Madya-as exists outside of Monteclaro's book.
