Weitersbach
Weitersbach is an Ortsgemeinde – a municipality belonging to a Verbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Birkenfeld (ˈbɪʁkŋ̍fɛlt) is a district (Landkreis) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Its seat is the town of Birkenfeld. It is bounded by (from the south and clockwise) the districts of Sankt Wendel (Saarland), Trier-Saarburg, Bernkastel-Wittlich, Rhein-Hunsrück, Bad Kreuznach and Kusel. In the early nineteenth century, the Nahe River was the boundary between two tiny principalities: Birkenfeld, west of the Nahe; and Lichtenberg, east of it.

It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Kirner Land, whose seat is in the town of Kirn. Bruschied lies in the southern Hunsrück, west of the Lützelsoon plateau. The municipality lies on the Kehrbach southeast of the Idarkopf (746 m above sea level) at the edge of the Idar Forest in the Hunsrück. The municipal area is 71.1% wooded.
Woppenroth
Woppenroth is an Ortsgemeinde – a municipality belonging to a Verbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis (district) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde of Kirchberg, whose seat is in the like-named town. The municipality lies at an elevation of more than 400 m above sea level on a plateau in the central Hunsrück, roughly 7 km south of Kirchberg and 12 km southeast of Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. South of the village looms the Lützelsoon, a small wooded hill region.
Kirn
Kirn est une ville allemande de située dans la vallée de la Nahe et dans le Land de Rhénanie-Palatinat. La ville fait partie de l'arrondissement de Bad Kreuznach et est sans en dépendre le siège de la commune fusionnée du Pays de Kirn. Connue pour la production de cuir et de bière, Kirn était la capitale des Wild- et Rhingraves, les princes de Salm-Kyrbourg, jusqu'à son annexion par la France dans les années 1790. Pour ces raisons, la ville de Kirn est aujourd'hui le principal centre historique et économique de toute une région du Hunsrück sur la Nahe.
Hunsrück
Le Hunsrück est un massif montagneux de la Rhénanie-Palatinat et de la Sarre (Allemagne) formant le rebord méridional du massif schisteux rhénan. Il est situé entre la Moselle au nord-ouest, le Rhin au nord-est, la Nahe au sud-est et la Sarre au sud. Le Hunsrück est le prolongement de l'Eifel par-delà la Moselle (rive droite), ainsi que le prolongement du Taunus par-delà le Rhin (rive gauche). Le sommet le plus élevé est l’Erbeskopf (816 mètres) dans l’.
