Somondoco
Somondoco is a town and municipality in the Colombian Department of Boyacá. This town and larger municipal area are located in the Valle de Tenza. The Valle de Tenza is the ancient route connecting the Altiplano Cundiboyacense and the Llanos. The area is dotted with many such little towns all located at approximately the same altitude (1500–1700 meters). Somondoco borders Almeida in the east, Guayatá in the west, Guateque and Sutatenza in the north and in the south the Cundinamarca municipality of Ubalá.

Ventaquemada is a town and municipality in the Central Boyacá Province, part of the Colombian department of Boyacá. Ventaquemada is located at a distance of from the capital Bogotá and from the departmental capital Tunja. The urban centre is situated at an altitude of on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes. Ventaquemada borders Tunja and Samacá in the north, Boyacá, Boyacá, Jenesano and Nuevo Colón in the east, Turmequé and Villapinzón in the south and Guachetá, Lenguazaque and Villapinzón in the west.
Zetaquira
Zetaquirá (setaˈkiɾa) is a town and municipality in the Colombian Lengupá Province, part of the department of Boyacá. Zetaquirá is located at from the department capital Tunja and borders Pesca in the north, Miraflores in the south, in the east Berbeo, San Eduardo and Aquitania and in the west Ramiriquí and Chinavita. The municipality stretches over an area of on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense at altitudes between and . Zetaquirá in Chibcha means "Land of the snake" or "City of the snake".
Poporo
Dans la civilisation précolombienne, un poporo est un objet mystérieux qui désigne à la fois une calebasse, un symbole, un support culturel voire thérapeutique, et un moyen mnémotechnique de transmission. Le poporo est remis au jeune garçon de certaines ethnies colombiennes telles que les Kogis de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta pour marquer son changement de statut, d'enfant à adulte en âge de se marier. Le Musée de l'or de Bogota possède quelques poporos remarquables en tumbaga, alliage à base d'or de cuivre, d'origine chibchane, muisca et quimbaya.
Susacón
Susacón is a town and municipality in the Colombian Department of Boyacá, part of the subregion of the Northern Boyacá Province. Susacón borders to the north Soatá, in the east Boavita, La Uvita and Jericó, in the south Sativanorte and in the west the Santander municipality of Onzaga. When the Spanish conquistadors led by Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada entered the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, the central highlands of the Colombian Andes, they found there the Muisca Confederation, the former country, home of the Muisca.
