District de Coimbatore
Coimbatore district is one of the 38 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Coimbatore is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is one of the most industrialized districts and a major textile, industrial, commercial, educational, information technology, healthcare and manufacturing hub of Tamil Nadu. The region is bounded by Tiruppur district in the east, Nilgiris district in the north, Erode district in the north-east, Palakkad district, Idukki district and small parts of Thrissur district and Ernakulam district of neighboring state of Kerala in the west and south respectively.
Wayanad
Wayanad (ʋɐjɐnaːɖɨ̆) is a district in the north-east of the Indian state of Kerala, with administrative headquarters at the municipality of Kalpetta. It is the only plateau in Kerala. The Wayanad Plateau forms a continuation of the Mysore Plateau, the southern portion of Deccan Plateau which links the Western Ghats with the Eastern Ghats. It is set high in the Western Ghats with altitudes ranging from 700 to 2100 meters. Vellari Mala, a high peak situated on the trijunction of Wayanad, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts, is the highest point in Wayanad district.

Le District de Malabar était en 1792 un district de la Présidence de Madras des Indes britanniques, puis de l'État de Madras lors de l'indépendance de l'Inde en 1947. Il avait une superficie de . En 1792 la création du district se fit par l’accrétion d'une partie des territoires de Tipû Sâhib puis par les Guerres anglo-marathes. Avec la Présidence de Madras, sa capitale était Calicut. Lors de l'Indépendance de l'Inde, l’État de Madras fut créé, lors de la réorganisation (1956) le découpage se fit sur des critères linguistiques.
Coonoor
Kunnur, natively spelt as Coonor(), is a Taluk and a municipality of the Nilgiris district in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu. As of 2011, the town had a population of 45,494. According to 2011 census, Coonoor had a population of 45,494 with a sex-ratio of 1,058 females for every 1,000 males, much above the national average of 929. A total of 3,768 were under the age of six, constituting 1,871 males and 1,897 females. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes accounted for 27.92% and 23% of the population, respectively.
Erode
Erode (iːɾoːɽɯ) is a city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Erode is the seventh largest urban agglomeration in the state, after Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Tiruppur and Salem. It is also the administrative headquarters of the Erode district. Administered by a city municipal corporation since 2008, Erode is a part of Erode Lok Sabha constituency that elects its member of parliament. Located on the banks of River Kaveri, it is situated centrally on South Indian Peninsula, about southwest of its state capital Chennai, south of Bengaluru, east of Coimbatore and east of Kochi.
Tiruppur
Tiruppur or Tirupur (t̪ɪɾɨppuːr ) is a city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tiruppur is the administrative headquarters of Tiruppur district and the seventh largest city as well as an urban agglomeration in Tamil Nadu. Located on the banks of Noyyal River, it has been ruled at different times, by the Early Pandyas, Medieval Cholas, Later Cholas, Mysore Kingdom and the British. It is about southwest of the state capital Chennai about east of Coimbatore south of Erode and north of Dharapuram.
Bhavani (rivière)
Bhavani ( பவானி) est un affluent de Kaveri en Inde. Avec ses de longueur, cette rivière est un des cours d'eau majeur du Tamil Nadu. Bhavani prend sa source des dépressions de Palghat (ou Palakkad en Tamoul) de l'État du Kerala voisin. Le Bhavani est alimenté essentiellement par la mousson du Sud-Ouest et accessoirement par la mousson du Nord-Est. Son cours traverse principalement le district d'Erode, 90 % de son eau est employé pour l'irrigation alimentant 6 millions de personnes.

Erode District is one of the 38 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It was the largest district by area in the state before the formation of Tirupur District in 2009. The headquarters of the district is Erode. It is divided into two revenue divisions, Erode and Gobichettipalayam, and is further subdivided into 10 taluks. Erode District was a part of Coimbatore District before its division into two on 17 September 1979. It covers an area of , and as of 2011, had a population of 2,251,744.
