Bafuliru
Le peuple Bafuliru ou Bafulero est une des nombreuses tribus qui forment la République démocratique du Congo (RDC). Ce peuple est situé dans la contrée d’Uvira, à l’est du pays. Ils cohabitent avec le peuple Bavira au Sud-K Leur langue est le fuliro, une langue bantoue dont le nombre de locuteurs était estimé à en 1999. Le swahili est également utilisé. Les Bafuliru ne sont pas un peuple homogène. Il s’agit plutôt d’un regroupement de populations de diverses origines, une sorte d’État multiculturel, ayant six origines distinctes.
Kamanyola (Sud-Kivu)
Kamanyola Kamanyola est un groupement de la chefferie de Ngweshe, dans le territoire de Walungu, province du Sud-Kivu en république démocratique du Congo. Il est situé à la frontière entre la Rd. Congo le Rwanda et le Burundi. Elle est située à proximité de la frontière rwandaise sur la route nationale 5 à au sud du chef-lieu provincial Bukavu. En juin 2013, le statut de Commune est conféré à Kamanyola ainsi qu'à 15 agglomérations et cités de la Province du Sud-Kivu, ce statut n'est pas retenu lors de la mise en œuvre de la réforme administrative en 2015.
Katogota
Katogota is a village located in the Luvungi grouping, which is part of the Bafuliiru Chiefdom in Uvira Territory, South Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Situated approximately 60 km south of Bukavu, Katogota is in close proximity to the Kamonyi and Rusagara villages, near the border shared with Rwanda and Burundi. Subsistence agriculture is the region's most significant economic activity and mainstay. The region has lateritic soils, and black soils, particularly those next to the Ruzizi River, which are virtuously clayey, making the village conducive to agriculture.
Bwegera
Bwegera is a village in the Bafuliiru Chiefdom in the Uvira Territory of South Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Bwegera has an elevation of 952 meters and is situated in the vicinity of the Kakamba and Nyaruhuhuma villages. The region It's crossed by Lake Tanganyika, providing a vital source of water and transportation for the local inhabitants. Bwegera is rich in building materials such as rubble, sand, and baked bricks, making it an ideal location for construction and development.
Mulenge
Mulenge is a village encircled by hills in the Bafuliiru Chiefdom, located in the Uvira Territory of South Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). It is situated on the high plateaus of the Itombwe massif, overlooking the locality of Uvira. The area has conventionally been inhabited by various ethnic groups, including the remnants of the autochthonous population of African Pygmies, as well as Bantu ethnic groups such as the Mbuti, Fuliiru, and Nyindu.
Uvira
Uvira est une ville de la province du Sud-Kivu en république démocratique du Congo. Elle est en 2018, chef-lieu du territoire homonyme. gauche|vignette|Uvira, vue vers l'ouest (2011) Située sur les rives du lac Tanganyika, elle est desservie par la route nationale RN 5 à 130 km au sud du chef-lieu provincial Bukavu. Elle est limitée au nord par la cité de Kiliba-Kagando, au sud par la collectivité chefferie de Kigongo et la rivière Kambekulu, à l’est par le lac Tanganyika, à l’ouest par la chaîne de Mitumba.
