Personalization management system
A personalization management system (PMS) is an integrated software solution that enables users in an organization to manage and deliver personalized messages, campaigns, and interactive experiences to consumers across different communications channels and devices. The term PMS was first used in a 2003 study on personalization, but it was later popularized by the startup Croct, which was the first company to use the term PMS to distinguish the emerging category of platforms and technologies focused on delivering personalized customer experiences.

In software engineering, the terms frontend and backend (sometimes written as back end or back-end) refer to the separation of concerns between the presentation layer (frontend), and the data access layer (backend) of a piece of software, or the physical infrastructure or hardware. In the client–server model, the client is usually considered the frontend and the server is usually considered the backend, even when some presentation work is actually done on the server itself.

Un générateur de site statique, souvent abrégé SSG (Static Site Generator) est un programme informatique permettant de réaliser des sites web statiques. Les premiers sites web sont statiques avant que ne se popularisent les sites web dynamiques, générés par des CMS. Ces générateurs de sites dynamiques sont plus simples à utiliser que les éditeurs de texte avec lesquels les sites web statiques étaient générés et par conséquent beaucoup de sites sont dynamiques en raison de la facilité à les produire et non en raison d'un réel besoin de fonctions dynamiques.
