This lecture introduces the MATLAB tools and provides installation instructions for TFA. Topics covered include the pyTFA and matTFA Python package and MATLAB toolbox for Thermodynamics-based Flux Analysis, as well as the installation of pre-requirements like GIT and CPLEX. Hands-on instructions for installing MATLAB versions 2017b and 2018(a or b) with CPLEX 12.7 and 12.9 are also provided.
