This lecture concludes the discussion on representing the third geographic dimension, highlighting the advantages of producing realistic and attractive views. Various methods for pseudo 3D relief representation were reviewed, followed by an explanation on creating a 3D model using a digital terrain model draped with raster or vector information. The demonstration of creating two 3D models in QGIS using the Qgis2threejs plugin, one in Seychelles and the other in Geneva, showcased an easy-to-use tool for visualizing 3D models.
