This lecture covers the principles and techniques behind achieving high resolution in 3D printing, focusing on two-photon polymerization and holographic printing. It explains the setup of conventional two-photon systems and introduces a novel approach using a digital micromirror device for high-speed and high-resolution printing. The lecture discusses the advantages, limitations, and applications of high-resolution 3D printing, including the fabrication of complex photonic and mechanical structures.
