Site Selection and Communication in Environmental Impact Studies

The lecture emphasizes the need to identify stakeholders early, address fears, and negotiate effectively to avoid project shutdowns. The case study of a road project in Cameroon and Nigeria illustrates the complex interplay between economic development, environmental risks, and social consequences.
