This lecture introduces the Robot Competition, a project-based, interdisciplinary learning opportunity where teams of three students from different master programs design and control robots to detect, collect, and dispose of waste in an arena. Participants gain hands-on experience in engineering, project management, and teamwork, with the chance to win a cool prize. The competition, implemented as an optional semester project, offers expertise from various fields such as microengineering, robotics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, bioengineering, and computer science. Students can apply as teams or individuals, with the outcome communicated in January and the competition taking place in mid-June.
