Group Theory: Introduction

This lecture provides a review of basic elements in group theory, followed by an introduction to group actions on sets. Topics include group theory fundamentals, motivations for studying group actions, equivalent definitions of group actions, subsets and subgroups associated with group actions, and the relationship between these subsets expressed through class equations and Burnside's lemma.
