This lecture introduces PATLISCI II, a technology for rapid cancer sensing using cantilever arrays. It covers force spectroscopy mapping for breast cancer identification, the clinical value of new diagnostic tools, and the physical properties of tissues in cancer development. The lecture explains the integration of cantilevers in AFM, the cultivation of cancer cells for calibration, and the micromechanical sensing of biomarkers. It also discusses cases of melanoma and breast cancer detection, emphasizing the importance of HER2 levels evaluation. The experimental procedure for biopsy analysis and the results of HER2 detection are presented, highlighting the accuracy of identifying tumor cells. Project partners and the application of probe array technology in life science applications are also discussed.
